Instead of dealing with boards prone to movement, twisting, and breakage, spray foam is applied directly onto the aggregate. This seamless application allows for straightforward installation of rebar and heating lines, as the spray foam can be walked on without fear of damage. The system offers both seamlessness and speed in installation, efficiently covering areas that would be laborious to achieve with rigid boards.
Spray foam also works to seal moisture and soil gas control. This is an approved system to replace poly, concrete, or rubber liners in crawl spaces for new construction.
